Soon, all the forest creatures were working together. The rabbits offered to share their carrots if the acorns couldn’t be found. The deer used their keen noses to search high and low. Even the raccoons joined in, their nimble paws perfect for checking hollow logs.
Just as the sun began to set, Fiona the frightened fawn called out excitedly, “I found them! Sammy’s acorns are buried beneath the old willow!” Her discovery filled everyone with joy, and Sammy danced with happiness.
